International Children’s Day is not simply a day to celebrate children, but to bring awareness to children around the globe that have succumbed to violence in forms of abuse, exploitation and discrimination. Pretend City will welcome community partners from various organizations to table in Orange plaza and educate guests on global issues that children today are grappling with.  Today’s activities will celebrate the importance of being little and will include Growing Up Great Games, Paint Our World and Flags of the World.
