Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Emerging Leader Award recognizes Jill Entner of JLOCC

Earlier this month the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) announced the winners of its annual awards.  The awards program recognizes innovators and leaders who support the enrichment and advancement of women in the engineering community.  Among the ten recipients of the Emerging Leader Award was Junior League of Orange County, Ca’s own Jill Entner.  The award recognizes individuals who have been actively engaged in an engineering or technology profession, and have demonstrated outstanding technical excellence.

Jill is currently capital projects manager for Torrance Refining Company LLC.  Her career has mixed traditional roles with special assignments.  A review of her professional experience shows that Jill has lead multiple special assignments, including leading a number of major upgrades and infrastructure improvements.

Within JLOCC, Jill’s career has included awards and recognition, including being named the recipient of the “Spirit of the League” award.  Jill has been an active member of the Junior League of Orange County, Ca since 2011.  Her placements have had direct community impact, serving on Kinship Committee, Crittendon Committee, Grandma’s House of Hope Committee, and more.  Women who have served with Jill share that she is committed and motivated.  She brings joy and purpose to committee meetings and League activities.
